Bike New York; Camper trip: May 5 - 11

May 2: Brooklyn Bridge, New York City (with Dick and Beth)

May 3: Bike New York, the real thing (39 miles in the rain, which never stopped); along with 30,000 other brave bikers.

 

May 5, All packed, ready for departure (by my house in Alexandria, VA)

 

Two days later: New Orleans:  Joan of Arc (Jeanne d’Arc) with Betsie (or the other way around)
